- Is there a money back guarantee?
Yes. You may receive a full refund within 3 days from the receipt of payment. Partial refunds may be offered after 3 days. After 7 days, no refunds will be issued. Refunds must be requested online.
- Can I begin the course from one computer and resume from another?
Yes. You may begin the course on one computer and resume it from a different computer. The course will automatically keep track of your progress, so when you log back into the course you will pick up where you left off.
- Do I need a sponsoring broker before I start courses?
No. However, you will need a sponsoring broker before you can work as a sales agent. You can apply now for an inactive license.
- If I have some college or a college degree do I have to take all 210 hours?
In most cases, you will only need the required courses of 1.) Principles, 2.) Law of Contracts and 3.) Law of Agency plus 4.) another 30 hour core class for the 150 "CORE" hours. The balance will come from your college credits. TREC can make this determination from your transcript.
- I am using a dial-up connection which is causing courses to run slow or not at all. Is there a fix for this?
The speed and reliability of dial-up are variable and, as a result, will directly affect performance. For more information, contact your internet service provider.
- What happens if I get disconnected from the Internet?
If you get disconnected from the Internet, then you will need to log back into your account. If this happens, then you will be returned to the beginning of the lesson that you were working on when you were disconnected.
- How much money can you make as a Real Estate Agent?
According to the US Department of Labor Statistics the average real estate salesperson made $30,930 and the top 10% earned $83,780 in 2002. Like most jobs the harder you work the more money you make. This is especially true in real estate.
- How do I get a completion certificate after passing the course?
Policy will vary depending on the course and the course state. Specific course info may be found at the end of each course instructions section.
Yes. After completing the lessons of text, videos, and interactive animations, you will take a 20 question, multiple-choice final exam Online. You have 3 opportunities to pass the exam at no extra charge.

- Can I register for a course without a username and/or password?
You must have a username and password to take a course which can be created when registering. Instructions are provided during sign-up to facilitate the process.
- OK, I forgot my User Name and Password. Now what do I do?
To retrive your password, click on the "forgot password" link below the student login, then enter your email address. You should receive an email stating your password. If you have forgotten both your username and password, contact customer support at 1-800-442-1149 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
- What the policy on time allowed to complete the course?
At the end of any section, you can log out and return when convenient.
- Can I register and pay for an employee or independent contractor?

- How do I pay for the course?

- Is there a time restriction on completing the course?
Yes, you must have your course completed in six months.
- How do I pay for the course?
Classroom Online accepts check card or credit card. If you are a
corporate client that is signing up multiple students, you can set up a
corporate billing account and be billed monthly.
Texas Real Estate Mandatory Continuing Education
- Effective September 1st, 2007, the Texas Real Estate Commission requires a 24-hour waiting period after a course is started before it can be reported as complete. This means that after you have started a course, we must wait at least 24 hours before reporting your status to TREC, regardless of the actual time you may have completed the course. Please take this new waiting period into consideration when choosing to start your course, especially if you are extremely close to your expiration date.
- The Texas Real Estate Commission requires all licensees (Salesperson and Broker) to complete 15 hours of mandatory continuing education every 2 years, 6 hours of which must be in Legal and Ethics Training.
